FAILED

So, I think i'm just gonna come to the conclusion that I have a black thumb. Seriously. I've killed about 8 plants. That beautiful window planter... DEAD. My Orchid... pretty dried, close to dead. My hanging plant outside... DEAD. Yikes. I suck at life. I'm glad i didn't follow the pattern otherwise I wouldn't be qualified to take care of pookie. I guess thats still up for grabs.

NIN Show

So I went and saw NIN last night. It was pretty awesome. I have to say, I thought knew Trent Reznor is a badass before, but now I KNOW he really is a badass. He was so entertaining to watch. I mean, he really got into it. There was flying guitars, tamborines, and microphone stands everywhere. They even had to have a microphone stand fixer at the bottom of the stage to straight it out everytime he wanted to sing. I'm pretty sure he hit the keyboard once as he sent a microphone stand flying in the air.

Anyways. It was a pretty good show. They played second for some reason and Jane's Addiction was the headliner.. odd i know. Maybe they switch off? Needless to say, Travis and I aren't big jane's addiction fans so we left early. We had really good seats too. Row 4 near the General Admission. So glad for presales! There was a sign language interpreter there in front of us so I actually was able to watch it the show in sign language too. The ladies were awesome and totally getting it to. It was fun to watch and sometimes i got distracted watching them instead of trent.

BTW, my plants are still alive!!!

My "Garden" I think I started it like 11th of April so i have to keep it alive until July 11th. Good luck plants!

Sorry Blog, I ignored you again! I have a few things to update. I have been to a few concerts over the past few months.

1)Ghostland Observatory @ Stubbs. This show was freakin awesome!
2)The Black and White Years and The Sounds @ LaZona Rosa. It was a totally fun show!
3)Weezer, Angels and Airwaves @ Frank Erwin Center. It was a great show.
4)Adele @ LaZona Rosa. AMAZING. God, she has such a wonderful voice.

Hrm, I feel like I saw a few more. Oh Well.

2) Santogold @ Stubbs 6/15 (I think?)

I planted a small window box "garden" so hopefully it will live! They are celosa plants.. I think they are cute, like colorful fuzzy pine cones.

I am planning on joining the gym this month and I'm gonna walk in a 5k this summer. Yay. I'm also gonna start back up on my ww program. I have been slackin!

Update

Its been a long time since I've updated this blog. I'd like to say it was because I was busy but thats not really the truth. I have been lazy and I've ignored the blog. I'm sorry blog!

So, I went to ACL (Austin City Limits) this past weekend. It was amazing. Its a 3 day festival, tons of bands. I am soooo tan, I think I'm darker than most black people. (JK!) I saw a lot of good bands such as CSS, MGMT, Teagan and Sara, Foo Fighters, Flyleaf, god, I can't even remember how many others. So, I could cross off the "see 15 live concerts" goal in that one weekend but I decided to count it only as 3. One for each day. Since it was hosted in Zilker Park, I can now cross off another goal.

49. Take a walk in Zilker Park.

Lord knows how many time I've hiked back and forth that damn park. I think I could of lost a lot of weight but of course I ate a lot more junk food than normal and drank more hard cider than normal. (Usually the hard cider count is 0!)

I also removed the counts for a lot of the goals. It makes me depress to see how low they are when I should be doing much better. I will work on it!

#63 Done!

So today I went to the Ice Cream Festival... Yes you read that correctly... ICE CREAM FESTIVAL. It was pretty wonderful in itself. So, they had a petting zoo and in it, there was a KANGAROO!! I got to pet a Kangaroo! This is what it looked like..






Pookie gave the kangaroo a nose kiss. It was pretty cute.

Another goal DONE!

Woo, So just when I thought I was being really lazy regarding the list... I realize that I actually finished one of my goals! Not an awesome one but ONE none the less.

28. Actually finish a whole crochet item

Thats right I did. Look, I even have pictures to prove it. Yes, I did it. I crocheted pookie a sweater. I know, gay.

Listless updates

So, I decided that I'm not gonna keep track of my daily goals because I'm too damn lazy to keep up with it. Lets be honest here, I'm not the best at keeping up with things. I usually have a good laugh every day whether its at work or at home so I dont think it'll be that hard and as far as my birth control goes.. I only forgot twice in this pack and thats a real accomplishment for me.

I've been washing my face every night now for the past 3 days.. lets see how long that lasts. I hope I keep it up so my face will clear up. I know my face isn't as bad as it could be, but i would like it to be "clean and clear and under control".

In other news, I'm currently having THE worset period EVER. god, I'm sooo bloated and cramping and I feel like I've been bleeding for days. I know, I know.. TMI TMI TMI but I had to tell someone.

Listless updates

So I bought a bottle so I can start my rainy day fund. I decided to only put bills in it so when I finally bust it open, its gonna be cold hard cash. I think I decided also what to do with it. I am either gonna use it for an emergency or to go shopping after I lose all the weight.


Speaking of losing weight, someone esle noticed I lost some weight! That makes me feel good about myself. I guess even though I don't notice a difference, its still there!

In other news, I sorta did a nightly routine last night. I brushed my teeth and wash my face, took my pill, and read a bit. Thats more than I usually do... I know I'm a dirty girl. I used a new face wash that also a deep exfoliate.. my face felt soooo soft like something i can't describe but is really soft!
